Army awards RTX $118M contract for drone target sensors.

RTX, formerly known as Raytheon Technologies, has won a $118 million order from the US Army for advanced targeting sensors to be installed on drones. The Common Sensor Payload Version 3 (CSP v3) will feature several enhancements over the previous version, including an improved camera with short-wave infrared capabilities. The sensor packages are typically fitted to MQ-1C Gray Eagle drones made by General Atomics.
