Backyard gas thief nabbed after camera-backed revenge
TL;DR
A homeowner’s webcam captured a neighbor siphoning gas from the backyard. In a two-part payback, he allegedly tainted the full gas can with urine and staged a trip away, while later using the neighbor’s personal details to apply for a sheriff’s ride-along, which uncovered outstanding warrants and led to the neighbor’s arrest. The tale, shared on Reddit’s r/ProRevenge, is noted to raise legal questions about vigilante tricks and is not a how-to for others to imitate.
