However, users can still upload to Twitter via the Xbox mobile app. Microsoft has not given an official reason for the move, but it follows Twitter's API price changes that could see companies like Microsoft paying around $42,000/month for access to 50 million Tweets. This move also follows Microsoft's decision to drop Twitter from its advertising platform.
