Fresh lettuce linked cyclosporiasis outbreak hits Taco Bell across states

An ongoing cyclosporiasis outbreak has been linked to shredded iceberg lettuce served at certain Taco Bell locations in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia. The FDA traceback points to a single iceberg lettuce supplier from Mexico; Taco Bell has voluntarily removed potentially affected lettuce while public health officials continue investigating. Cases are reported in 34 states with about 7,000 illnesses and Michigan and Ohio reporting the largest counts.
