Multiple retailers recall frozen fruit products over Hepatitis A concerns.

Willamette Valley Fruit Co is recalling select packages of frozen fruit containing strawberries grown in Mexico due to potential Hepatitis A contamination. The products were sold and distributed through Walmart, Costco, and HEB stores. Consumers are advised to dispose of the product or return it to stores for a refund. No illnesses have been reported so far. Hepatitis A is usually spread through close physical contact or fecal-oral contact. The recall comes just days after Wawona Frozen Foods announced a similar recall of its Organic DayBreak Blend.
