Nationwide Frozen Fruit Recall Announced

Sunrise Grower's Inc has issued a voluntary recall of frozen fruit products linked to pineapple that may be contaminated with listeria monocytogenes. The recall includes products sold at Walmart, Target, Aldi, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and AWG. Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious infections, especially in children, elderly people, and those with weakened immune systems. Consumers are advised to either throw away the products or return them to the store of purchase for a full refund. No illnesses have been reported so far.
