One Medical Expands Nationwide with Amazon's Support

Amazon-owned primary care provider One Medical is opening new locations across the United States, following its acquisition by Amazon earlier this year. The company has already opened two locations in Connecticut and plans to open a third in San Francisco's Castro neighborhood, as well as its first office in Milwaukee this fall. One Medical offers a membership-based model where patients pay an annual fee of $199 for comprehensive care, including common illnesses, chronic conditions, mental health, and sexual health. Subscribers have access to around-the-clock care through an app, can schedule in-office or remote visits, and can have lab work done at any One Medical location. Amazon's entry into the healthcare space aims to revolutionize the primary care experience and make it more convenient and affordable.
