Deutsche Bank's $75 Million Settlement with Epstein Accusers Gets Green Light from US Judge

A US judge has granted final approval for Deutsche Bank's $75 million settlement with victims of Jeffrey Epstein, who accused the bank of facilitating the late financier's alleged sex trafficking. The settlement covers women who claimed they were sexually abused or trafficked by Epstein or his associates between 2013 and his death in 2019. Deutsche Bank did not admit any wrongdoing as part of the settlement. The judge also approved fees of 30% for the lawyers representing the victims. This settlement follows a similar $290 million settlement reached by JPMorgan, another financial services company, over claims related to Epstein.
