Elizabeth Holmes' Prison Sentence Delayed Again with Last-Minute Appeal.

Elizabeth Holmes, founder of Theranos, has had her surrender date delayed as she appeals her conviction on wire fraud charges. Holmes was originally scheduled to begin an 11-year prison sentence on Thursday, but the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has stayed her surrender date until it can rule on her request to remain free while she fights her conviction. The appeal to her conviction could take several months or years to move through the court system, but a decision on whether Holmes can remain free during that process may only take a few weeks.
