Terra co-founder Do Kwon faces extradition requests from US and South Korea while detained in Montenegro.

The United States and South Korea have requested the extradition of Terra co-founder Do Kwon following his arrest in Montenegro on charges related to forged identification documents. Montenegrin Justice Minister Marko Kovač said the decision on which country Kwon will be extradited to will be based on several factors, including the severity of the criminal offense committed, the location and time of the offense, and the order in which the extradition requests were received. Kwon may have to serve time in Montenegro if convicted of charges related to forged identification documents before any extradition to the US or South Korea is granted.
