Baldwin Park food drive runs out of supplies as lineups persist

A drive-through food distribution in Baldwin Park organized by LA County Supervisor Hilda Solis and the LA Regional Food Bank drew cars around the block; about 2,000 families were helped, but some were turned away after supplies ran out roughly 30 minutes before the scheduled noon close. Organizers plan additional distributions in Montebello and South El Monte to meet ongoing demand driven by rising prices and food insecurity.
