San Antonio Renters Could Get Settlement Checks Over Alleged Rent Inflation

Renters in San Antonio who paid rent between Oct. 18, 2018 and Nov. 21, 2025 may receive a portion of a proposed $359.925 million class-action settlement against RealPage Inc. and about 40 rental owners/management companies for allegedly inflating rents; final court approval is pending and payout timing is undecided. To check eligibility, renters should use the official settlement site’s Property List to see if their property is included, provide proof of rent, and file a claim by Jan. 29, 2027, noting that defendants deny wrongdoing and the court has not ruled the allegations true or false.
