Multiple Powerball Players Strike Gold with $150,000 Wins
TL;DR
A third-prize Powerball ticket worth $150,000 was sold on Staten Island, along with another winning ticket sold in Newburgh. The winners received the increased prize amount due to the Powerplay feature, which multiplies non-jackpot prizes. The winning numbers for the Oct. 7 Powerball drawing were 47, 54, 57, 60, 65, and the red Powerball number 19. The New York Lottery encourages players to purchase tickets early and offers a mobile app for checking results.
