Northwest Naturals recalls dog and cat foods over Salmonella and Listeria risks

Northwest Naturals is recalling its Frozen Chicken Recipe (cat food and a protein topper for dogs) and Frozen Raw Diet for Dogs due to possible contamination with Salmonella and Listeria. The 2-pound bags (best-by Jan. 26, 2028) and 6-pound bags (best-by Jan. 25, 2028) were sold nationwide. Consumers should stop feeding the products and return them for a full refund; no illnesses have been reported.
