Teens' Constant Social Media Use Revealed in Pew Research Report

A survey conducted by the Pew Research Center reveals that YouTube is the most widely used platform among US teenagers, with 93% of respondents regularly using the video-streaming service, and 16% of them visiting or using it almost constantly. TikTok ranked second, with 63% of teens using the short-video app, and 17% of them accessing it almost constantly. Facebook's popularity among teenagers has significantly declined, dropping from 71% in 2014-2015 to 33% today. The study also found that teenage girls were more likely to use apps such as BeReal, TikTok, Snapchat, and Facebook, while teenage boys preferred video game-centric messaging and social apps like Discord and Twitch.
