Twitter's head of trust and safety, Ella Irwin, has resigned from the company amid criticism for lax protections against harmful content since Elon Musk acquired it in October. Irwin oversaw content moderation, and her departure comes as the platform has struggled to keep advertisers on it due to concerns about appearing next to unsuitable content. Musk recently hired Linda Yaccarino, former NBCUniversal advertising chief, as Twitter's new CEO.
