Honda Debuts 2027 CRF450R Family: All-New Engine, Lighter Frame, and Rich Electronics

Honda has unveiled the all-new 2027 CRF450R lineup with a completely redesigned engine and chassis that shed about 9–10 pounds and use roughly 70% of a new main frame, plus a larger 1.9-gallon titanium fuel tank. The bike delivers stronger power and torque across the rev range, improved stability, and simplified maintenance, aided by a redesigned Unicam valvetrain, updated transmission, lighter starter and electronics including ride modes, HSTC, and launch control. The lineup includes the standard CRF450R, the race-focused HRC Works Edition, and the CRF450RX off-road model, all featuring new bodywork, sustainable materials, and advanced electronics. A Works Edition adds high-end parts like a Yoshimura exhaust and premium suspension.
