AI threatens over 300 million jobs worldwide, warns reports

Goldman Sachs economists predict that up to 300 million full-time jobs globally could be automated by the latest wave of AI, with 18% of work worldwide being computerized. White-collar workers are seen to be more at risk than manual laborers, with administrative workers and lawyers expected to be most affected. The US and Europe could see up to a quarter of all work done by AI completely. While the impact of AI on the labor market is likely to be significant, most jobs and industries are only partially exposed to automation and are thus more likely to be complemented rather than substituted by AI.
