Alibaba introduces Tongyi Qianwen, its ChatGPT competitor AI.

Alibaba is set to launch its own AI chatbot assistant called Tongyi Qianwen, which will be integrated with its tech ecosystem, including DingTalk and Tmall Genie. The chatbot will be able to communicate in English and Mandarin and perform tasks such as turning conversations into written notes, writing emails, and drafting business proposals. The main question is whether it will be able to perform more creative tasks like its American counterpart, ChatGPT, which was released by OpenAI in 2022.
