Google doubles down with $2 billion investment in AI firm Anthropic

Google is investing an additional $2 billion into AI startup Anthropic, following its previous investment of $500 million. The investment will be used to train Anthropic's AI systems, including its AI assistant Claude. Anthropic, a rival to OpenAI, has also received investments from Amazon and former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried.
