Google Settles for $700 Million: Who's Eligible for Payout?

Google has agreed to pay $700 million and make concessions to settle antitrust allegations regarding its Android app store. The settlement includes $630 million to compensate US consumers who were affected by Google's payment-processing system. Eligible users will receive automated payments through PayPal, Venmo, ACH transfer, or a written check. Each eligible customer will receive a minimum of $2, with additional payments based on their Google Play spending. Approximately 102 million people may receive a payout. Google has stated that the settlement allows for choice and flexibility in Android while maintaining security protections.
