"Meta to Allow EU Users to Unlink Instagram, Facebook, and Messenger Info Under DMA"

Ahead of the EU's Digital Markets Act (DMA) coming into force in March, Meta has announced that EU users will be able to unlink their Instagram and Facebook accounts, as well as other Meta services, allowing them to use these platforms without their information being shared between them. This change will apply in the European Union, European Economic Area, and Switzerland, and is in response to the DMA's regulations aimed at improving competition and leveling the playing field for businesses.
