Real-world test shows Rivian R2 uses more energy than Model Y despite similar EPA numbers

The gap highlights that EPA lab tests and testing paths can differ from everyday driving, since energy measured at the wall vs. from the battery can yield different results; the R2’s larger size and aero profile likely raise highway energy, though it charges very fast, while the Model Y showed weaker charging in this test.
