Solar film on a Tesla roof pays off for off-grid experiments after a month

A US YouTuber known as Mostly Offgrid installed Ecoflow Heatguard Solar Film on the roof of his Tesla Model 3 for about $450. After a month of driving at 80+ mph, he reports the film stayed in place with no wind noise or efficiency loss, though it blocks most of the panoramic roof. It delivers roughly 138 watts on a cloudy day and up to about 250 watts in sunny conditions, making the setup worth it for camping and off-grid living despite reduced visibility.
