MARC Launches Direct Baltimore-to-Montgomery County Rail Link

TL;DR Summary
MARC will launch a weekday direct one-seat rail link from Montgomery County to Baltimore starting Sept. 28, allowing Brunswick and Camden line trains to run through without transfers and reducing commute times by up to an hour. The service will connect communities including Gaithersburg, Rockville, Germantown, Laurel and others to Baltimore with morning and evening trains. Schedules on the Brunswick and Camden lines will be adjusted to accommodate the new connection, which MDTA says comes without additional annual operating costs, with plans to expand frequency and add stops in the future.
