The flight will depart from Austin and fly to Detroit, providing an extended view of the eclipse's path of totality. Delta plans to use an Airbus A220-300 aircraft with larger windows for better viewing. The one-way ticket starts at $579, and award pricing begins at 52,000 Delta SkyMiles. Other airlines, such as Southwest, are also offering eclipse-viewing flights.
