Delta Air Lines' special Flight 1228, designed for viewing the upcoming total solar eclipse on April 8, has sold out all its seats. The flight, timed to provide the best opportunity for safe eclipse viewing, will travel from Austin to Detroit and use an A220-300 plane with extra-large windows. NASA advises using specialized eclipse glasses to watch the eclipse and warns of potential eye injuries. This will be the last total eclipse over North America until 2044 and is expected to last longer and cover a wider path than the 2017 eclipse.
