Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas, the world's largest cruise ship, arrived in Miami after making its way from Europe. The 250,800-gross-ton vessel, the first in a new class for the cruise line, features new neighborhoods and entertainment options, including a 363-ton glass-and-steel dome called the AquaDome. It will begin year-round Caribbean itineraries after hosting media for a day tour and preview voyages. Icon of the Seas is also Royal's first ship to use liquefied natural gas as fuel, contributing to the cruise industry's efforts to reduce emissions.
