TL;DR

A 5-year-old girl in Massachusetts spent over $3,000 on her mom's Amazon account while playing on her phone during a car ride. She ordered 10 pairs of cowgirl boots, five pink motorcycles, five blue motorcycles, and a kid-sized Jeep. Instead of punishing her daughter, the mom is using this as a teachable moment and plans to get her a bike more suited to her age range if she behaves and does chores around the house.
