Odyssey Dominates Korea Box Office as Admissions Top 10 Million

The Odyssey dominated the Sep 4–6 weekend in South Korea, earning $5.9 million from 698,384 admissions across 1,858 screens (60.92% of the market) and pushing its total admissions to over 10 million with about $83.2 million gross. Spider-Man: Brand New Day held second in its sixth outing with $942,178 from 146,674 admissions across 725 screens, bringing its Korea total to $67.9 million. The weekend’s overall gross was $9.8 million, down from $13.5 million last week as the post-summer box office slows down.
