Fans criticized the hotel for its overpriced, windowless rooms, subpar food, and "Star Wars"-themed extras. The hotel, which boasted rooms ranging from $6,000 to $20,000 for a two-night stay, failed to attract the average person into purchasing the experience enough to keep it afloat. Disney did not specify why the hotel was closing, but acknowledged it set a "new bar for innovation and immersive entertainment."
