Facebook Marketplace Chair Purchased for $50 Valued at $50,000 by Sotheby's

A man purchased a chair for $50 on Facebook Marketplace and later discovered it could be worth up to $50,000. The chair is one of only 50 made by Danish designer Frits Henningson. After receiving tips from TikTok viewers, the man contacted Sotheby's, who will feature the chair in their "Important Design" sale on June 7th. The man expects to walk away with up to $25,000 in net profit after the sale.
