Spider-Man: Brand New Day has surpassed $2.33 billion worldwide after its fifth weekend, closing in on Avatar: The Way of Water’s global tally; domestically it has $891 million, about $45 million shy of the unadjusted all-time U.S. record, while Coyote vs. Acme opened around $15 million and The Dog Stars underperformed at $8 million; The Odyssey has pushed past $1.5 billion worldwide, marking Universal’s second-highest grossing title.
