Adam Scott’s Office Audition Still Haunts Him, Now Seen by His Daughter

Adam Scott, who was famously rejected for The Office’s Jim Halpert, recalled on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon that a New York acting class once compared his audition to John Krasinski’s; his 17-year-old daughter Frankie was in the class and felt mortified by the exercise, which Scott jokes should be kept in the curriculum as a lesson in what not to do, while noting his later success in Parks and Recreation and other projects.
