Collin Gosselin Announces Memoir, Promises to Reveal the Hard Moments of His Childhood

Collin Gosselin, 22, son of Jon and Kate Gosselin, announced via Instagram that he is releasing a memoir titled In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood, due Oct. 13, 2026. He says he spent years keeping parts of his life private because he was afraid people wouldn’t believe him or he wasn’t ready, but writing the book helped him find his voice and recount some of the hardest moments of growing up in the public eye. The memoir revisits his upbringing after his parents’ divorce, custody shifts, and his time in a behavioral health facility before joining his father and later graduating high school in 2023; preorder details are available now.
