How I Met Your Mother actor sentenced to 32-to-life for stabbing ex-girlfriend

Actor Nick Pasqual, known for How I Met Your Mother, was sentenced to 32 years to life after a jury convicted him of attempted murder and related charges for stabbing his estranged girlfriend, makeup artist Allie Shehorn, at her Shadow Hills home in May 2024. The case also included counts of injuring a spouse or partner, first-degree burglary and rape; Shehorn survived and Pasqual was later stopped at a Texas border checkpoint and extradited to Los Angeles.
