"WWE Wrestler Ashley Massaro's Accusations Against Vince McMahon"
TL;DR
Former WWE star Ashley Massaro, who died by suicide in 2019, alleged in a previously unreleased statement that WWE chairman Vince McMahon sexually propositioned her and destroyed her career after she rejected his advances. She also accused McMahon and another WWE executive of covering up her alleged rape on an army base in 2006. These allegations resurfaced after federal authorities launched an investigation into sex trafficking allegations against McMahon by a former WWE staffer. McMahon has denied the allegations, and the case has brought renewed attention to the treatment of female wrestlers in the industry.
