Chocolatier Arrested in Connection with Murders of Oscar-Winning Animator and Partner

American chocolatier Jonathan Lehrer and alleged accomplice Robert Snider have been charged with the murder of Canadian animation innovator Daniel Langlois and his partner Dominique Marchand in Dominica. The victims were allegedly ambushed by a hitman and their car was set on fire. The murders are believed to be the result of a road dispute between Langlois and Lehrer, who were neighbors. The dispute had reached the highest court, which ruled that the road was public. Lehrer's father denies his son's involvement in the murders. Langlois was known as the founder of Softimage, a company that created 3D animation software for movies.
