Indie-Rock Keyboardist Jonathan Melendez and Family Murdered in Mexico; Two Suspects Arrested

Jonathan Melendez, keyboardist for the indie‑rock band Camilo Séptimo, was found murdered at his home near Mexico City along with his pregnant wife, Ana Paula, their three-year-old daughter, a nanny, and the family dog; a six-year-old boy survived. Mexican authorities say two men have been arrested in connection with the killings, with one allegedly gaining access to the residence through a prior relationship with Melendez. The band posted a tribute to Melendez and his family.
