Airbnb-Linked Killings: Mexican Band Keyboardist and Family Slain, Son Survives
Jonathan Meléndez, 38, keyboardist for the Mexican indie band Camilo Septimo, his pregnant wife Ana Paula and their 3-year-old daughter Sofia were found shot dead in their Atizapán de Zaragoza apartment; their nanny was also killed and their 6-year-old son survived by hiding, with two men arrested in what investigators describe as a dispute-driven, targeted attack tied to Airbnb rentals.
