LAPD Refutes Homicide Claim in Jimmy Fowlie's Missing Sister Case
TL;DR
SNL writer Jimmy Fowlie claimed his sister Christina Downer is no longer alive and that the case had been reclassified as a homicide, but the LAPD says the disappearance remains suspicious and has not been upgraded to a homicide; the Robbery-Homicide Division continues investigating, while the family says Downer’s phone and social media may have been compromised and is asking for information that could resolve the case.
