Devil Wears Prada 2 Designer Slams Met Gala’s Bezos-Backed Glamour

Costume designer Molly Rogers, who worked on The Devil Wears Prada 2, criticized the Met Gala for its Bezos-centered glamour, saying she wouldn’t have attended and quipping about Lauren Sánchez Bezos’s Schiaparelli look. The gala faced outside protest, including Ball Without Billionaires with Amazon workers and the arrest of Chris Smalls, and Rogers suggested the outside protest was the event’s “real artistry.”
