Philadelphia to Debut Global Star Wars Exhibition Celebrating 50th Anniversary

Philadelphia's Franklin Institute will host Star Wars: The Experience, an 18,000-square-foot, behind-the-scenes exhibition opening Feb 13, 2027, featuring more than 70 artifacts (including Vader’s costume, Maul’s lightsaber, Grogu, R2-D2, C-3PO, a speeder bike) in immersive galleries; it will be the only official Star Wars exhibition during the franchise's 50th anniversary year and will travel across North America for five years after its Philadelphia run. Tickets go on sale in November; first renderings will be shown at San Diego Comic-Con on July 24.
