Alaskan Bush People star Matt Brown found dead after river recovery in Washington

Matt Brown, the eldest son from Discovery's Alaskan Bush People, was confirmed dead after his body was recovered from the Okanogan River in Washington. The Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office identified him and handed the case to the coroner; Bear Brown spoke about Matt's long battle with addiction and a recent relapse. The coroner is investigating the cause of death. Matt left the show in 2019 and later built a following on YouTube; he is survived by his family, including his mother Ami and his siblings, while his father Billy Brown died in 2021.
