Comedians Defend Dylan Mulvaney Jokes Amid Heckling and Controversy

Comedian Chrissie Mayr defends her right to say offensive jokes at her stand-up shows, claiming that "comedy clubs are one of the last few places of freedom" left in society. Mayr ripped the transgender community for acting like the "protected class du jour," and declared that "true equality is being able to joke about everybody." Mayr's Dylan Mulvaney jokes triggered audience members, who walked out of her show, yelling, "F--- you, transphobe!" Mayr claimed they then proceeded to knock over her merchandise table near the entrance to the venue for good measure.
