Disney Slashes Hundreds of Jobs, Pixar Bears the Brunt

Disney is cutting several hundred jobs across ESPN, Disney Entertainment Television, and its studios, with Pixar bearing the bulk of the reductions in production and operations as the company tightens its output toward fewer, higher‑quality theatrical releases and streaming.
