TL;DR

The Yellowstone universe expands with a Beth Dutton–Rip Wheeler spin-off, Dutton Ranch, set in Rio Paloma, Texas. Amid controversy over a fired showrunner, early critics are buoyant, with Rotten Tomatoes starting at 100% from eight reviews and praise for returning to the Yellowstone tone. The series looks promising but faces the test of more reviews and long-term consistency. It premieres two episodes on Paramount+ on May 15, 2026, with weekly Friday airings on Paramount Network.
