Olivia Munn Recalls Co-Star Refusing to Be Saved by Woman On Set
TL;DR
Olivia Munn said on The Drew Barrymore Show that a male co-star refused to film a scene where her female character saves him during an underground-bunker gunfight. After about 45 minutes of back-and-forth, she proposed swapping the save dynamic so he would get saved instead, and he agreed, though she notes the scene didn’t actually change. She uses the incident to discuss standing up for herself and protecting her artistic choices in Hollywood.
