Parker Outlines Six-Episode Dunk and Egg HBO Prequel
TL;DR
THR’s interview with Ira Parker reveals HBO’s Knight of the Seven Kingdoms plan: a six-episode Dunk and Egg prequel with 30–40 minute runtimes that aims to stay faithful to Martin’s novellas, uses a modest budget, and could expand into more seasons beyond HBO’s current three-novella plan, with season two likely to stay six episodes but require sunnier locations due to drought and inflation.
