Rupert Murdoch, 92, to Wed Ann Lesley Smith, 66.
TL;DR
Media mogul Rupert Murdoch is engaged to former San Francisco police chaplain Ann Lesley Smith, marking his fifth marriage. Murdoch controls News Corp and Fox Corp through a family trust that holds roughly a 40% stake in voting shares of each company. The engagement is unlikely to change the ownership structure of businesses in which he holds stakes. Murdoch and Smith will be married in late summer.
